Message My car has pinged a few times before and it shows up as a spike on the graph. My ears have heard it and, from tearing down my motor, my eyes have seen the evidence as well.

I'm not sure how the Consult displays knock but if it is in graph form, it should be good enough.

For the SAFC-II the numerical values mean nothing since the baseline goes up as the temperature of the motor goes up. For example, when the motor is cold, the knock value will be 5. When you ping, the knock value will spike to 20 then drop back down to 5. As you drive the car for a longer timer, the knock value will be at 20 and when you ping, it will be 40. So you can't just set a warning for when you reach a particular value.
